Our Junior Squad helps young épéeists develop into competitive fencers through a structured program that develops their skills and fitness. Squad sessions include warm-up, drills, footwork, fitness, structured bouting exercises and games. This helps young fencers to develop all aspects of their fencing to the level they want to get to, from beginner to elite. Our fun, friendly 3-week beginners’ épée class is for adults who are new to fencing. Classes include warm-up, footwork, structured drills and fencing with your group. Fencers should come ready to sweat! Please wear sports gear (including long tracksuit pants, non-marking indoor court shoes or non-black-soles sports shoes) and bring a water bottle and towel. This weekly squad is for graduates of Adult Beginners and adults who have previously fenced épée.
