Darcy MacCuspie - Coach

Darcy coaches VRI Swordplay and the Junior Intermediate class. He has been fencing competitively since 2013 under Head Coach Gerry Adams. During this time he has enjoyed successes in national competitions winning the bronze at both the under 17 and 20 Australian championships in 2017. He has also trained and competed internationally, spending a month in Hungary and Germany in 2018. Coaching since 2017, he has experience preparing school age children for state and national level competitions. In addition, Darcy has unique familiarity with fencing for pentathlon, having trained students for international level competitions before.
